Hi! I thought that, but NO mess, no shells, no nothing. My hens have broken eggs before and they don't clean up after themselves very well.
It really looks like someone just kinda swiped the eggs, but can't think of anyone who would, so thought snake. However, the good news is that my poor broody has been off the nest for quite some time today. Here's hoping she won't go back in!
Also, thinking of going to look for some of the sulfur stuff. I didn't really want to close the hen into a nest box with any snake proof material due to the heat. Thanks All! I very much appreciate your help...have had chickens 3 years, always learning something new!
