Sneaky Rooster!!

I have a Plymouth Rock mini flock. 3 hens and 1 rooster. He had a very good temperament growing up. Now that he is almost a year old he has become very sneaky. Any time that we walk a he will attack us from behind. We put a small bell on his leg so we could hear him coming. Late fall that cat bell fell off so I ordered some heavier bells they should last longer. He is a great protector he has fought off a Hawk twice so far. This was amazing to watch, I was sure that a hen was dead but his quick action saved her.

I guess if he fought off a haw twice its worth tolerating his cheap shots. Heavy jeans and a stick should help protect from and discourage attacks.
