I have a sneezing white phoenix. Other than that she seems fine. Do I have to do antibiotics? Or can I wait and see she gets better on her own? I have some tylan 50 if I have to.

I don't know what cause's the sneezing. But I had Delaware hen and she wouldn't stop sneezing and she died 2 days later.

Look at your coop ventilation, dusty feed or bedding, ammonia odors, or for mold in the area to see if everything looks dry and clean. If there is a lot of sneezing without those problems, look for any nasal drainage and consider that she could have infectious bronchitis. It is a virus that will last around 4 weeks, and it can spread throughout the flock fairly quickly. IB is the most common respiratory disease in chickens, and they remain carriers for up to a year of that is the problem. Sneezing can be common without having a disease. Antibiotics can be used in viruses, to help prevent secondary diseases, but they won't treat the virus. Testing can be done if you want to find out for sure if IB is the problem.
