I am wondering if anyone can pass on some knowledge. I can't exactly pinpoint what exactly is wrong with this chicken. We have no chicken drs around here, so I thought I'd try here for maybe some answers.
I recorded a video of what she is doing.
She is a Cuckoo Maran. We have several other chickens and I have been noticing that she appears to sneeze here or there. We it got worse, as you can see in the video. She is now in her own area, and there will be a whole day she won't do this, and others she does often throughout the day. She doesn't lay eggs, and I don't think she has for some time. We have so many eggs its hard to keep track. There are only 2 marrans and it seems we began to notice that there was a dark egg missing a month or so back. But now that she is seperated we know it is her. She is also missing some feathers on her back near her tail, as is the other marran. We did have a Marran rooster with them and thought that was from him, but it has been some time since he has been gone and feathers dont appear to be growing back. We also have two Buff Orps that have feathers missing on their backs near their tails like this, which I had assumed had something to do with molting, but again it feels like its been that way for some time and wonder if its related to the marran?
