We have a few birds that are sneezing, I don't see any runny noses though and they are eating good and are still very active. One of our roosters is one of the sneezers, he also has one eye that was swollen shut, I thought he got into it with the other rooster? The eye is now much better, but still looks a little puffy around the edges and a bit watery sometimes, he also isn't crowing like he usually was. His other eye has always looked good, so I don't know if this was related to the sneezing or not?
One of the hens that sneezes, has had watery/boogery eyes, but not every day. She also sounds kind of gurgly/rattly when she is on the roost at night, but not while she is out and about during the day. She has a great appetite and is very active. All of our chickens came from two different local auctions/swaps that my husband and 8 year old son went to and bought birds at, so we have a mix of breeds and unknown ages and health history. We have had very wet weather lately, not sure if that is a contributor to the sneezing, but the chickens go inside the barn and stay pretty dry for the most part. This has been going on for a few weeks, I don't know if I should just let it run its course or if I need to put something in their feed/water? They don't seem to be getting any worse.

It sounds like a cold. I would keep their coop area as dry and dust free as possible. If you have to fluff/remove and add dry bedding everyday due to your wet weather it is worth the effort. Disease thrives in a damp environment, dry chicken coops= healthier chickens. Weather can be such a pain in the neck!! Hope they improve soon!!

The coop/barn is dry inside, maybe too dry and dusty. Its an old barn, three stalls with a shed on the front, our old horse and mini donkey go up under the shed to get out of the weather and we have set up one of the stalls like a coop. The chickens go in at night and free range all day. Its all dirt floor and the chickens have really, turned it up. Now that school is out my son and I are going to go in and clean it out really good and put some shavings down in the coop stall.

Here are a couple of pics of the rooster I was talking about with the funky eye. You can see his good eye in the second pic and you can see his bad eye in the first pic.
