We have a few birds that are sneezing, I don't see any runny noses though and they are eating good and are still very active. One of our roosters is one of the sneezers, he also has one eye that was swollen shut, I thought he got into it with the other rooster? The eye is now much better, but still looks a little puffy around the edges and a bit watery sometimes, he also isn't crowing like he usually was. His other eye has always looked good, so I don't know if this was related to the sneezing or not?
One of the hens that sneezes, has had watery/boogery eyes, but not every day. She also sounds kind of gurgly/rattly when she is on the roost at night, but not while she is out and about during the day. She has a great appetite and is very active. All of our chickens came from two different local auctions/swaps that my husband and 8 year old son went to and bought birds at, so we have a mix of breeds and unknown ages and health history. We have had very wet weather lately, not sure if that is a contributor to the sneezing, but the chickens go inside the barn and stay pretty dry for the most part. This has been going on for a few weeks, I don't know if I should just let it run its course or if I need to put something in their feed/water? They don't seem to be getting any worse.
