I'm trying to figure out how to design a duck coop that will provide enough ventilation, but won't let snow blow in, and I can't figure anything out.
We had a couple very windy snowstorms this past winter, and the snow got in everywhere in our barn. Even around close doors! I think I saw snow blowing UP in one of the storms!
I also can't figure out a good door design. One that might work, once the snow is removed, is having the door hinged on the bottom and latched at the top, so that it opens down, kind of like the back on a pick-up truck.
