I had one like that that never made it out of the egg. Personally I'm glad it didn't as I'd have to cull it anyhow. But if it's a pet and you're willing to put in extra time, that I think it may have a chance
Fortunately, the one-eyed quail seems to navigate everything fairly normally despite having one eye and minor scissor beak. S/he can eat, drink, and preen about as well as our other quail that does not have birth defects! I think it will make a great pet as it is the snuggliest and sweetest of the two birds we have. In the end, it has all worked out.
