So do i switch them all to layer?

I got my first egg today, and I dont know who laid it! Do i switch them all to layer feed?

If they are all around the same age, there shouldn't be a problem. Congrats on your first egg! I'm still waiting, but have been feeding them layer feed for the past couple of weeks.

If they are all the same age, I mix grower and layer for a week or so and then switch over.... be certain that they have free choice oyster shell or calcium.... (I just mix mine in with the feed)

The shells help the thickness of the egg shell and if you want to be SUPER carefull you can also use egg shell ! Hope i helped
