We're getting our John Blehm order next week --- DD's first show chickens. She's getting wheaten/blue wheaten and black bantams. I know I'll be jumpy all day Tuesday and Wednesday waiting for the P.O. to call.

I also picked up an order of birds from Mr. Blehm last Monday, mixed Ameracauna and Vorwerk bantams:

Unfortunately one of the black Ameracaunas didn't make it; it was weak from the start and got progressively worse as the days went on. The rest of them are fine, though the Vorwerks are slightly psycho in nature.
