I got my first 4 ducks in march. They were born in Feb. and today I got my first duck egg!!! YAY!!!!

Isn't it just the biggest thrill???!!!!!

I still remember our first egg. It was as if my duck had just graduated Harvard Summa Cum Laude! I was SO PROUD of her.

And I still cherish each egg. I feel so sad if there is a reason it cannot be eaten. We have no drakes, so none are fertile.
