I am a second grade teacher who recently hatched 14 out of 21 chicks in my classroom. I lost three to a neighbor's dog and recently discovered that only one of the remaining chicks is a hen. My husband will soon be getting rid of our roosters because of their obnoxious vocal chords. So I found 5 more hens on Craigslist to try this again! I have a small six chicken coop and 100 acres for them to roam on. I welcome any and all advice on this adventure. ❤️ I LOVE watching them in my yard!

Welcome aboard! :frow

Get settled in and share some pics of your flock!

Quarantine the Craigslist ones for at least 2 weeks before you put them anywhere near your current flock. To make sure they aren't sick.
