(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
OFF and on for about thirty years...
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None... moved to the city temporarily for family
(3) What breeds do you have? not sure...she said they are a hearty breed that do really well in the winters here in Colorado
I have had EEs, Light brhamas, Turkeys, and my fav Guineas.,
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
havent a clue I am a constant internet surfer
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
You name it .... but I write, draw, craft, create things out o junk, and recently learned how to wire wrap and fell in love.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
One son One mom One grandma four generations here in the city. I am a retired mechanical engineer. Been involved with horses for fifty years or more now. now when I am old and feeble I switched to driving rather than riding.
When I moved up to the desert I had ideas of opening a machine shop and doing Carriage prototypes. Still want to build one for my use.
When I go back I will rebuild the coop bring my horse back from her retirement home and adopt a bizillian dogs, bring in another equid to keep her company and Fence the place with razor tape .... LOL not really but the mind thinks.... of stuff.
