So I found this frog??

Hi, so I was outside letting my chickens out of the coop when I found this frog, he was hopping around at first but then he stopped, his legs went straight behind him and his little arms went straight to his sides? Then he could not go very far and seemed hurt. Know I am always looking out to help any animal in need, so of course i got some gloves on and picked it up and gave it some water but know I'm wondering what's wrong with him. Does is have a disease, or is it about to die. Or is it just scared of me?

The way it looks it is fine. Growing up I spent a lot of time catching these in our pound... maybe it just needed some water

He looks fine in the picture. I find them in my chicken waterer (read that as repurposed large rubbermaid tote) on a regular basis during the hottest part of the year. Chickens don't even mess with them, they just drink around them.
