So..I need a feeder for 50 chicks...

My cornish X are now almost 3 weeks old...and being thre are 51 of them, I am haveing a hard time keeping the feeders full. So...today..I made a feeder, that I am hopeing will work, when I put them out in the yard. Whatcha think???

I think it will work for 90 percent of the feed, when it's 10 percent full they might have a tough time getting more out. I like it, nice idea.

I think you will have flow problems and will want to make bigger openings, as well as alot of wasted feed unless you elevate the feeder a little. Even then, they will climb into the tray and scatter the feed, as they are spry little boogers!
