Welcome to BYC, Katy. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have a very nice and thorough introduction. You have a nice mix of breeds. I currently have all of them in my flock except the Cuckoo Maran (and I've had them in the past). You have a beautiful daughter. Raising chickens is a great experience for children. My granddaughter, who is also 7 (pictured in my avatar) loves our chickens, and has made lap pets of our Black Australorps and Buff Orpingtons, but she says the Ameraucanas (actually ours are Easter Eggers since true Ameraucanas lay only blue eggs) are her favorites.
