so i've been wondering....

I live in the pacific northwest and it rains... a lot. What are the chances that I could get away without needing to pump my or partially dump my pond during the winter? It only snows once in a while and only does the freezing thing early mornings.

Well, it seems like it would need a good stirring up from time to time, or the overflow would just be taking off the fresh water and not the buildup in the bottom.
