I got 10 new 1 week old pullets they are Silver Laced Wyandotte , light Brahma , Australorp, and Barred Plymouth Rock they are all puffy as all chicks are and ill post some pic of them later but my family is very mad that i bought them

I'm assuming you have your own place, right? so why does your mom care if you got more chicks? sound like good breeds to me, so enjoy them! They grow so quickly, as I have found out

Trust me..my wife still gets upset when I bring new birds into the house but they always grow on her and she loves them as much as I do. We have been married over 26 years and the look on her face when I carry that McMurray box in from the post office NEVER gets old.

This week BYC is having a chicken swap down the road for me so I expect to see that loving look in her eyes again!
