I go down and open up the hens runs at 5:30 am.it is so noisy from all the wild birds waking up.i do my best at trying to keep my girls mite and lice free.but with all the wild birds.its impossible.they have trees close to their coops and runs.and of course its a perfect roosting area for all the wild birds.their is no way I can delice huge trees.and my hens have a large tree growing inside of their run area.

General birds actually do a good job of not getting mites and lice so you shouldn't have a problem. By the way what do you use for prevention of mites and lice?
