So much for biosecurity!

For three weeks, I have been dealing with my stray chicken ..I put her 'coop' about two yards away from my girls, I rake her poo and cart it to a cover, enclosed compost bin, I throw leftover food in the trash, I had just dusted her... Trying to be a good chicken Momma.... Well, I arrive home tonight and their are 20+ guineas in front of my coop, on my covered run, on the trees above my coop, dust bathing in my girls favorite scratching spot!!!! When I stopped the truck they came running.. followed me everywhere... EVEN to the stray chickens coop and then when I came in, I looked out the back window and their they were sitting on the run, coop and swimming pool---Like they owned the place.. Who knows where they came from== I have seen this same group all over our area.... Now I am worried for the safety of my chickens.... Darn it!!

Anything I can do???

Wow...guinea on Iron Chef! Hope I get to see that one as a rerun.

I like pheasant. Maybe I should go to Dixiedoodle's for guineas.

Guineas do not seem to be prone to disease, generally. Once I heard a very knowledgeable man tell say that you couldn't even kill a guinea with a 22, LOL, but they do like to commit suicide on occasion.
