Just went to the coop to cuddle the girls. Lavander, my LO comes up for some cuddles and I notice a tip of her comb is a bit bloody. No problem. We use 'Hen Healer' which supposedly helps with healing and deters pecking- we just call it The Goop

I go to goop my LO and she goes and pecks the darn stuff right off the q-tip... thought it was quite tasty too. So much for "deters pecking"
