Ok, so I bought a few cornish rock meat birds to start with, next I got 4 free straight runs with a bag of start and grow, after that I got the fever and bought 2 RIR, 2 BSL and 5 "pure arucana" chicks(that's another rant) Anywho The meaties got BIG fast so I moved them to a seperate brooding area and figured I would "graduate" the others as they got bigger as well. Well I have this one black and white chick. (That I think is an australorp Roo) he's been picking on the smaller chicks and in general being a big bully.(largest of the straight runs). So, today I moved him into the seperate brooding area with the meaties. He took one look at them and froze, I honestly thought his eyes were going to pop right out of his head then he started to make the cutest little peep sounds I've ever heard. I eventually moved the other larger chicks in with him and the meaties, and they all seem to be getting along fine now. But, I doubt I will ever forget that noise or the look in his eyes.

Watching chickens is 100 times better than watching T.V., isn't it?
