...and one has only been laying for 1.5 months...the other for only 3 weeks.
is it possible for them to be broody so quickly? They are EEs and about 5.5 months old. They are both puffed out like balls and want to hang in the nest box all day. even though there is an open box they have made it difficult for others to lay in the next box and I have found 2 eggs outside the boxes.
i know they are not fully broody because they go out in the morning and whenever there are snacks but then go right back into the nestboxes...i have kicked them out like 6 times today.
it is frustrating because the others are just starting to squat so i know they will lay soon but the 2 brats are hogging the boxes and being cranky chickens.
