I know nothing about silkies but by it's tail, I think you can expect some crows.

I know I might regret this later but I am going to say its a girl, the new feathers coming in on the wings look rounded to me. Does it have any glossy pointed feathers in the head?

I have three girls I call the PoufyHead Sisters, same sire a Cochin/silkie cross and mama a BR hen. They look amazingly like your bird there. They had a brother who looked like a BR, but had a poufy head, LOL. See? This is Kate

To me, yours looks a bit boyish, but I'm not sure.

I think on pullets, you can see their eyes, and on males I dont think you can see their eyes.
