I have an oddly specific questions lol. I live in Alaska. It is still light out when I go to bed around 10pm and already light when I get up around 5:30am. Right now, there's a brief period of true darkness in the middle of the night, but in a few weeks that'll be gone and all we'll get is dim. So here's my question- my coop has 2 low windows. Should I hang curtains so it's dark in the coop at night?

If you want to! It may help create more of a schedule for your chickens if you do.

Not sure it's necessary, why do you think it is?

Might ask in your state thread, tho it's not very active.
I'll tag @Alaskan , they might be able to help.

I read that the constant light in big facilities leads to aggression. I don't want my girls suffering if there's an easy fix but I also don't want to give myself something extra to clean if it's not necessary.

I'd guess that has more to do with crowding than constant light.
Constant light is not something I'm sure they do, for a hen to lay they need some darkness.
Not sure they short dark period in your location would affect laying.

Are they acting off?
Do they have lots of space?
I'd not worry about adding blackout curtains unless they start acting aggressive.
