So sick of dishonest ads and getting old eggs!

I purchased 12 saxony duck eggs from eBay. I got them and they all looked nice however their air sacs were already large so definitely not the fresh eggs I was promised. I put them in the incubator and only 1 has developed at all. So I go check the breeder information and find a review that says that this particular person bought their saxony eggs and resold them for a higher price. I’m so disappointed. I don’t think I want to buy eggs again. all that money to get maybe 1 duck if it even hatches at all. I could be sick.

That's why I look at reviews and ratings and try to communicate with sellers before I buy. Not trying to scold, just saying what I do

I usually do. But I had been looking for them and I just saw the 100 percent satisfaction on it and didn’t click the reviews and I was on a egg buying spree. I had already ordered some frizzles and jubilee orphingtons and just ordered with high hopes. Wish people were just honest. In a perfect world I guess

Yeah, it sucks when looking for gelleggs ends in disappointment. Found someone with tons of eggs I wanted and then I saw how nasty they were with negative and even neutral reviews...
