A bit ago, I woke up one morning and looked outside to the barn, as I usually do to see the horses, and I see a cute little kitten just sitting there.

DD went out and picked up the kitty. It was obviousy drop off. It was overly affectionate. Not afraid of horses, dogs, other cats, ducks or chickens. Or humans for that matter.

A few days later, another one shows up, looked almost identical but a bit smaller, and a bit more timid.

So they've been here for a few weeks now, and i was pretty sure they were girls. but on closer inspection, noticed they both had little jewels, but they are tiny. If a kitten is about 8 weeks old, "they" should be noticeable, shouldnt they? Or should they be BB sized?

I cn sex most animals easily, but these guys have me confused. Any help?

Thanks! I think I will have to check the urinary opening just to be sure. If they are girls, they've got to go. I don't want any (more) kittens here.

I hear ya! I had 12 cats at one point and finally got the numbers down to 4 and I'm they are all males. Good luck!

Ohh miss_the north, I think this year has been worse than ever for drop offs. I hope they are boys!

ETA_ I have a nice drake here if you want him, let me know!

Hey!!! I sent you an email a whle ago about the ducks--did you get it?

As far as the kitties go--we''ve been here two years, and this is the first time we've had to deal with dropoffs. It's hard, b/c my dd gets sooo attached to them.

Oooo, it makes me so mad when people drive out to the country, look for a barn, and dump their responsibility on the kindness of strangers!!!

They know we won't turn them away. I've wound up with so many cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens (roosters), and ducks this way...one of my neighbors even had a goat dropped off on their property!

Good luck with the kittens! I hope they are boys.
