So the Toulouse laid 4 eggs...

and are sitting on them but not as much as I expected. Can someone give me the lowdown on whether Toulouse are good sitters and if 4 is normal for her first batch. I'm assuming 30 days is about right for gestation. Its been very warm for Wisconsin so far but will snow in a couple of days. Her nest is in a big plastic calf hutch with a ton of straw where she built the nest. Also, do toulouse only lay once a year?

Any info on what to expect will be great! My son is looking forward to having baby geese and I'm hoping he's not disappointed.

HHMMMMMMMMM. I wouldn't know for sure, but isn't 4 eggs a really small clutch?
