socializing 7 week old chickens

I just got some 7 week old cream legbar chicks and they can run really fast. How do I socialize them? I was so spoiled with my other two chickens. They have always let me hold them and they stay with me in the front yard. These other two run like the wind and won't stay with anything.

Catch them without chasing if possible (corner them). Lots of treats, calm voice, slow movements. Carry them around snugly under an arm - set them down and walk away - don't try to pick them up again after you set them down. Then later, corner them again or bribe with treats to get them close and then leave. Give them small doses of this don't over do it. Slowly they stop seeing you as a threat. Good luck to you!
