Sock-jacket for broken wing causing issues

Hi! My hard-luck pullet got attacked by something and she has a broken shoulder/wing with puncture wounds. The wounds are healing well after 3 days, but I cannot get this wing set in a sling correctly! Wraps and self-adhesive bandages keep falling off. Finally, I made a sock into a straight-jacket— made holes for legs and her good wing. But she wont walk around. She just falls over on her broken-wing side, or totters backwards until she is leaning on something. Is my sock a bad idea? I’m not sure whether she is in more pain or if she is just being like any animal when you put clothes on them— acting like a total drama queen.

Hey, that's a good idea. Can you put her in a crate and give her a couple days to learn balance?
