I noticed tonight that one of my girls has a soft ball under her vent. She is running around, scratching, eating, and drinking. I have no idea what it is. It is soft if I touch it. I plan on soaking her in Epsom salt in the morning bit not sure what is going on.

Is she acting normal? Laying eggs?

The swelling is soft and fairly pliable or tight like a drum or fluid filled?

Could be just a fat pad.
If it's tight and fluid filled, I'd monitor her for the time being since she's acting normal and active.

She's being plucked a bit on the bum, it's nothing major. If you wish, you can apply a bit of NuStock cream to the bare area.
Do look her over for lice/mites.

IF it's fluid filled, then you can try a Detox to help reduce fluid.

IF it's fluid filled and she becomes lethargic, distressed, has difficulty breathing or shows signs of decline, then you can give supportive care by draining the fluid, it won't cure her, but can make her more comfortable.

She is acting completely normal! She even laid today and is pooping fine too. It is soft and pliable. I can push on it and it fills almost like liquid filled. I soaked her in Epsom salt water for a bit and noticed she had 2 feathers that were ingrown so I used tweezers and pulled them out of the skin so they could grow normal but no bleeding or puss came out from around them when I got them to come out of the skin. I didn't see any lice or mites on her and I'm guessing they would be pretty obvious from how she looks. I'm just at a loss and don't want to overlook something and then she turns quickly.

If it were fluid filled, it would be very tight like a drum.

Soft and pliable is a bit better. There are intestines there, some fat, etc.

Good job on getting the ingrown feathers out, that's fairly common.

Sounds like she's doing o.k. if she's laying, eating/drinking, active.

I'd just enjoy her and monitor her.
