Soft cracked egg

Gone to open the coop door this morning and saw another soft shelled egg cracked..

Here is the backstory:
My hen Florence is our only hen that goes broody. The last time she went broody was a few days ago and shes only just got out of the habit. She is not laying, doesn't go in the coop in the day but at night she likes to sit in the nesting area? This is the second time I have seen this and I am unsure if I should be worried or not

If its the broody hen thats laying the egg then its normal. Her system has to reset. They should harden up as she gets back into her regular laying cycle.

How did you break her of being broody?

Has she always slept in the nest...or just when she's broody?
Usually it takes a week or so for hen to go back to laying after being broody.

Well, we blocked the laying bay off from her after the others have laid and she just stopped.... she only started sleeping in the nesting area after she became broody
