In the past week I have found three very soft eggs. they look fine until I go to pick them up and then they just fall apart. I have three hens but I think it is only one that is giving soft eggs. Is this a deficiency in its diet? Ony help on how I can help this hen

shadowpaints is correct. They need free choice crushed oyster shell and chicken grit 24/7. Try a poultry vitamin suppliment for their water once a week, you can purchase a powder form Also try 1 tablespoon organic cider vinegar in one gallon of water a few times a week.

If you know which hen it is you can collect the 'dust' at the bottom of the crushed oyster shell bag and sprinkle a little on some scrambled egg a few times a week. This will give her a big boost and her shells should return to normal.
