My 8 week old chick, named Dodie, has recently developed a lump underneath her beak. It's been about a week since she got it, and it's gotten a bit bigger. It doesn't seem to be hindering her ability to eat, and she doesn't seem to even notice it, but the increasing size of it is making me nervous. By the way, she's a silkie, and we have a few others, all are pets who live in our backyard. Is it a problem? Will it go away on its own?
