Soiled Covered Chick. Should I Clean It.

One of my chicks is has a bunch of... pooh... on her back. She seems pretty agitated and has been trying to preen it off of her. Should I clean her and if so, how do I clean her?

Sounds like pasty butt, and she will die from it if you don't help her soon! Please post pictures so we can make sure.

And is it on her back or butt?

It is on her back, on of the other chicks pooped on her.

Yes, I would gently clean it with a damp towel....maybe? I'm familiar with pasty butt but not this. @aart

yeah wipe of as much as you can with a damp towel.....then leave it be...poophappens.
