Solar Lights

So I'm reading here about 'lights' being an aid in warding off predators - like the Nite Guard lights....

Wondering if solar lights like Christmas LED lights or lights that fade off and on.... that kind of light - are those effective? Has anyone had luck with something one might have in their Christmas stash...???

I believe the night guard works because it is a single red light, that the predators believe is another preds eye. (could be wrong)


A motion light might work.
