Sold to me as pullet but I’m not sure…

Hey Everyone,

About a month ago I got two new pullets, however, now I’m not so sure one is actually a pullet!

I don’t know the specific breed of chicken but likely a mix. From what I was told, they are around 27 weeks old. Neither chicken is laying eggs yet.

Curious if you think it’s a pullet! Thanks!

Hi! I'm sorry to tell you that's a cockerel. You can see male specific feathering. The feathers are more pointy and shiny.

Ugh! That’s what I suspected.

Definitely different breed! Look at those feathered feet! I’m not familiar with that breed but at least this one is a pullet! Might be younger than 27 weeks?

I know! She’s kind of cool. But definitely a pullet and I’m happy about that! She might have been 22 weeks around this photo.
