Solid white ameraucanas....Unusual ???

I got 3 solid white ameaucanas (ee's, whatever) from a hatchery. Had a fellow tell me this is unusual. what is so unusual about this? do they have different "laying tendencies" ? TIA

I forgot to mention the legs are bright olive green, if that matters.

i think it's unusual because you don't see many of them... but they will lay like an EE of any other color

Well there is a White Ameraucana BUT it has to have slate legs and toes with the bottom of the feet and toes being white so you would have a white EE and I have seen them before the guy down the road had about 15 of them an there nice looking birds...

I've seen white Easter Eggers from Ideal Poultry. There is also a white Ameraucana, as well.

I've got two white ones I hatched from eggs. I don't think they are that rare?

I've had White EEs and Blue EEs from Ideal Hatchery. Lovely birds!

Heres the pic of one I sold not long ago and she was from Ideal however she had faint buff feathers on her chest.

This one is a REAL Amercuana Bantam roo out of Gilbert stock, named Snow Owl:

So no, they are not unusual to find white Amercuanas and white EEs! Enjoy them!
