I have one hen with a permanent leg injury who cannot get up on the roost at night. She instead sleeps in one of the laying boxes, alone. Starting TONIGHT, nightime temps will be below 20 degrees fahrenheit. Is this dangerous for her since she does not have the body height of the others?

Think of sitting at a football game In a parka. You really are not sharing body heat with the person next to you. You might be blocking the wind, which can feel warmer, but is just because your heat is not blowing away.

Think DRY and out of the wind = warm chickens.
