some greens

how do i feed them greens and leftovers from cooking do i cut them up or something? Do i cook them?

You do not need to cook, but some people do to give their chickens warm food. The only food I can think of off hand that needs to be cooked is dried beans.

How old are your birds? If they are peeps, cut it up. If not, just toss it out there. Honestly, they'll eat anything in any way. When it's really REALLY cold here in the winter, I even make mine oatmeal
