Some Info On Our New Coop

so we are starting to plann our new coop and breeding pen. I have been wondering where we will find the money to do this. we have 2 bathrooms that need major attention and are low on cash!

i went to my dads house and we were talking about it. Here he has 5 8ft posts, we have 1 and we needed 6. SCORE!

He also proceeds to tell me that he doesn't want his shed at all! It's poorly built with some rain damage and he won't go in it. SISSY

He said if we take it down we can have all the wood off it and recycle it to make our new coop.

i feel like i just won the Lotto

There are quite a few barns around me which are in a bad way and I have thought about asking if I can have the wood. Sometimes you can find great stuff under free on Craigslist which make up the difference between a couple of dollars and a hundred dollars. Anyone can spend a small fortune but not many can do what needs to be done on a very small budget.
While living in NC, we had the advantage of some excellent Habitat Restores which sold everything at huge discounts so I rarely paid full price for anything.

so we went and got the 8ft poles today from his house and found roofing material. So we took it! My brother is gonna help dismantle the shed with Dunk on wed. Tomorrow we will push the VW Camper into it's new spot so we can chalk out the run.

I am so excited!!!

lol, it's mine! I have a 75 VW bus and 79 VW camper. The camper is getting restored. I did think about it with the 71 we just gave away. It would be cool! Hubby said, NO! We needed to trade for running motor for my 75. lol
