The bad thing about hybrids is that if one gets sick or injured, it's hard to get them help. The wildlife rehabiliators won't take in hybrids, the humane society and veterinarians don't like to deal with untamed ducks. Plus, the vet costs would be really high. But, luckily, I haven't seen too much problem with the hybrids and they all seem to be really healthy.
