My Sexlinks will lay eggs with white spots or what I call a white overcoat (

it makes the eggs have a purple sheen in the right light). I think it is just extra calcium, not like the typical calcium deposits that can leave a hole in the shell when scratched off. And some do have the darker spots too which I think are just extra color deposits. I don't mind the diversity in my eggs I actually like the imperfections.
