I see smileys everywhere I go on the 'net, but have never known exactly what specific within the main emotion (happy, mad) these are trying to convey. Is it just me? I have never seen anyone use these either, and wonder why they still exist:

I think looks like a mad face (look at the eyebrows)

= scared
