Okay I just have a few questions about peacocks:
1. I've seen it said to cover the run in 2"x4" wire...i know racoons couldnt get through it, but would mink and weasels be a problem or do they not bother peacocks?

2. Do most people make a 12'x20' run thats six foot tall and then just put some kind of wind block on three sides and roof at one end.

3. I live in northern ohio where it gets below freezing sometimes, how do they do in this weather?? Will I have to make an enclosed coop and how large would it need to be?

4. What is the minumum size for a breeding pair?? trio??

Thanks...if you could answer one it would be great!

1. The 2x4 is good for the top, only had one mink, got in my chicken pen.

2. yes one end closed in on three side.

3.Mine do fine in the Ohio winter, but the greens, or real high % spalding will need heat.

4.10 x 20 x 6 ft. for 2 yr old breeders, Trio, 3 yr need a little more room cause of the peacock train. My breeding pens are 12 x 36 x6
for one peacock and 4 to 6 peahens
