Yup there is still some snow here in Nottingham, NH but the girls just love to get out and about. We have almost three acres but they insist on hanging out in the driveway. Once all the snow is gone and their feet don't get cold they will be content on the lawn eating some yummy bugs. They are all 12 months old give or take a month. They are all Bantams or Bantam mixes except for Holly my red hen which is a full size EE mix that lays white eggs, go figure.

Any ideas about her other half would be great!

The smallest white one I'm told is a Brabanter mix and has five toes. Possibly part Silkie as the woman she came from raised Silkies also. Her name is Olive and she is off the wall

My faves are the Bantam Light Brahmas which lay a large egg

They are Angel and Gretchen.

I have a broody in the coop on six eggs right now that were given to me by a friend. She is a Silkie mix who is from the same woman as the Brabanter, and she is sitting on some barnyard mixes that I cannot wait to see.

one f them is the tinies egg I have ever seen!

These are pics of two of my three dogs, Jack is a nine year old Border Terrier and Katie is a three year old Cockapoo. They are amazing

Nottingham, I love Katie. Can she come to visit for the weekend. pleazeeeeee!

They are both beautiful, as are the chickens. I have some light brahmas too, they look huge to me and they are just about 6 or 7 months old, and friendly as anything.

Thanks! Katie is momma's girl. She is absolutely amazing and she loves the chickens! The other two have the terrier instinct and have had their muzzles around a few tiny bantams that kept insisting on flying over the dog fence. They have a great home at a woman's house in the next town that uses hotwire to contain them.

Let me tell you that the Brahamas are my best birds ever. THey are Bantams but lay a large egg, amazing. The friendliest birds I have ever had

Awwww... Jack's so beautiful

And that look on his face - unbeatable

I must admit your bantam Brahmas look like a full size chicken - I know that 'regular' Brahmas are huge but it's a kind of a shock to see such big Bantams
