Beautiful farm - I hope to have something like it some day soon. The land around the pasture where the cows are is simply stunningly beautiful.

thanks we have around 600 acres a lot of it is not all that useful but the cattle and stuff roam it and eat off from it

Love your pictures! You have a nice group of Yorkshires there too! How do you keep that one sow and her litter from running off? It appears to look like they weren't in a pen. Love the cattle dogs too, do they help with the pigs as well. Freebie's husband has a red cattle dog and he raises pigs as well. You have a beautiful place, where do ya live. Wish I had 600 acres.

northeren nyWe are on a dead end road and all our neighbors are our family so if they were to take off it was not big deal. At first she did not go to far and I was always there to watch them. She did go up the road once but that was it no big deal. It is nice to let them be able to do that periodically. Susie the mom is pretty good about not going to far so that also helps.
The cattle dogs do help but with the litter we never had them do anything caz we did not want her to step on them.
