Took the camera out and got some photos.

Sleepy Sweetgrass with an araucana hen. The turkey lays her eggs on the top stawbale. She has been laying for several weeks now. I think her sister is starting to lay too, I found two eggs yesterday.

Turks with everyone scrambling for some scratch grain.

These turkeys are constant shadows, even Clark has started following me everywhere.

Do you have a sweetgrass tom with the hens? I would love to hatch some of those. I got hooked on turkeys and now I want some sweetgrass turkeys.

Unfortunately, no tom, just the two girls. I have a blue slate tom and a black mottled jake. Neither of the boys have tried mating the girls.
