Some questions.

Hello all, hatched my first eggs on the Feb 26, 24 eggs, 11 hatched, 3 of those died.

I have a couple questions.

First:
I have 2 out of 8 that are lighter in color, is this a different type? They should be jumbo pharoah.

I've attached a pic of them, lightest is the on the left side standing up chirping. The other lighter one is the second one on the right side.

Second:
I am feeding them 30% Purina game bird and plan on transitioning to Kalmbach 22% Meatbird with a oyster shell on the side.

22% protein, 1.5% lysine, .5% methionine.

Any issue with this food? Purpose for eggs and meat.

Seems to me like you are pretty good off with the food!

The feed sounds good.

As for the lighter ones, they might be falb fee, which is the same feather pattern as pharaoh, just missing the brown colouring. They come in jumbos too.

Throw in some fresh oregano or most anything in the Mint plant group every now any them for good internal health...

Are they eating food dust? Mine seems to be leaving the dust behind and eating just the ground down crumbles.

I made this so that the blender feed/ crumble hardly spills at all...
Quails have to stick their heads in n eat.
The feed that is flicked around ricochets back into the feed...
It's a scalable model to fit chicks at stage weeks.
Also, it can be attached to the inside or out side of cage mod the clip parts...
