OMG, I just clicked on one of those ads at the top of the BYC page, and it was for 25 layer pullet chicks for like $22... seriously? Twist my arm! Although I really don't NEED that many chicks, and can't imagine anyone buying them just in time for them not laying all winter, but geez! Plus, if DH comes home to 45 pullets, instead of 20, he might SSS.... oh geez, i'm not sure I can stop myself! (the big coop is about to be emptied of meaties.... and I'd have the space technically... )

I can see that this can become an addiction. I can't save you - you can't save me if I walk into a plant nursery. Although the chickens can decimate anything I put in the backyard and save me from myself.
